Onsite training has advantages over online training. There is nothing like having hands on training for your employees. When a student can experience the passion of the teacher it can have a lasting impact. Someone once said, “The best teacher is not the one with the most education, but the one who can create a desire in the heart of the student to learn the subject matter.” Onsite training provides the greatest setting for this process to take place.
If you are interested in having onsite training, please review the training courses and decide which courses and lessons you want taught. Send an email noting courses of interest and training time options and how many people you want to train. A determination will be made of an approximate time that it will take to complete the training and you will receive a call to discuss the best solution to fit into your company’s schedule and priorities. Three different onsite training options are available.
- 15 Hours of Training – 2 or 3 days
- 20 Hours of Training – 3 days
- 25 Hours of Training – 3 or 4 days

Bonus hours
Every contractor that books an onsite training sesson, will be given bonus hours of online training. The purpose of the bonus hours is to provide your estimators time for followup and review after the onsite training is completed. Guidelines for the bonus hours are as follows:
- Bonus hours are given as follows:
- 2 hours with a 15-hour training
- 3 hours with a 20-hour training
- 4 hours with a 25-hour training
- Bonus hours must be used within 90 days after training the last day of training, unused time after 90 days will be forfeited.
- Time is charged in 15 minute increments.
- Bonus hours can be scheduled in advance or upon availability.
Booking
Training times must be booked 30 days in advance depending upon dates and location. Depending on location, less notice maybe acceptable. There are travel limitations and exceptions. All travel arrangements must be approved by Estimating 101 prior to any purchases of air travel. If air travel is not practical, then ground transportation is based on a per mile cost. Daily training times may have to be modified due to travel requirements and time zone differences.
Location of Training
All costs for an appropriate training location is the responsibility of the contractor. The ideal location is in the contractors estimating office. If an offsite location is chosen, it must have provisions for projection capabilities and those being training must have a current version of the Trimble® ACCUBID™ product being taught.
